Dermalogica collaborated with Coradin, a supplier based in France’s Alpes-Maritimes region, to revamp the packaging for its Clear Start range. Due to Coradin’s innovative “Greenis” Dispenser, the package has won four awards.

Coradin won the following awards for its Greenis Dispenser:

  • AMERISTAR 2023 – Sustainable Packaging Category
  • WORLD STAR WINNER 2024 – Health & Personal Care Category
  • PCD INNOVATION AWARDS 2024 – Skincare category
  • PHARMAPACK AWARDS 2024 – Packaging Innovation Award Highly commended
Coradin worked with the team at Dermalogica — and the collaboration resulted in the brand using Coradin’s “Greenis” Dispenser for its Clear Start Breakout Clearing Booster. The package has a dropper tip and a side-button actuator. Dermalogica, based in Los Angeles, is a Unilever Prestige Brand.

Dermalogica’s Clear Start Breakout Clearing Booster is in a white plastic bottle, decorated wth a hot pink logo. The bottle has a dropper tip, which dispenses the salicylic acid acne product “precisely and intuitively.” The new packaging is more eco-friendly than the product’s previous package.

Dermalogica’s Bottle Uses Over 75% PCR

Dermalogica’s team revamped the packaging for its Clear Start range in an effort to be more sustainable, while also ensuring its products remain user-friendly. Coradin reports that Dermalogica succeeded in its goal to make its packaging more eco-friendly, while preserving its brand identity, perception of quality, and durability.

The new package for its Clear Start Clearing Booster uses Coradin’s Greenis Dispenser, rather than a traditional dropper. It also incorporates over 75% PCR.

The dispenser’s actuator, on the side of the bottle, offers users an intuitive dispensing gesture that’s comfortable and precise. In addition, the new package does not need to be assembled on new packaging machines, which helped the brand avoid additional filling costs, the team at Coradin explains.

More About Coradin’s Greenis Dispenser

Dosing droppers are traditionally made of heavy glass or multi-materials, Coradin says. The new Greenis Dispenser combines durability and ease of use in an “intuitive”  e-commerce package.

The Greenis dispenser is part of Coradin’s range of new eco-friendly dispensing solutions. The range includes reusable, refillable and recyclable packaging.
